I’ve been discriminated against my entire life. It’s not as bad as it is for a black person, I’m sure. However, it was small remarks that got to me when I was younger that made me wish I was a blonde hair blue eyed - Nazi approved - white girl. Those days have passed. I have heard a few racial slurs the past couple of years, but nothing that made me angry. I guess it is sad to say that I have grown accustomed to people’s ignorance.

However, last month I was sitting in a restaurant with my younger sister and these three cowboys walked in and sat by us. They deliberately talked too loud about “oriental women and their sideway pussies.” Not too sure where that rumor got started, but I get that a lot these days.

My response?

Don’t pretend like you haven’t watched Asian porn.

Ignorance is not bliss and your racist stereotypes are, like I said, duly noted.
